Analysis

This classic double-action revolver in .22 LR caliber offers notable precision for target shooting and plinking, thanks to its well-balanced design and consistent barrel alignment. The ergonomics are comfortable for most users, with a grip that facilitates a natural hold during extended sessions. Reliability is a strong point, as the mechanism functions smoothly under regular use with minimal malfunctions when properly maintained. However, upkeep can be a challenge, as internal components require meticulous cleaning to prevent wear, and sourcing replacement parts may prove difficult due to limited availability. The trigger pull is crisp in single-action mode, though it feels somewhat heavy in double-action, which might affect rapid follow-up shots for some shooters. Felt recoil is negligible, making it an accessible choice for beginners and seasoned users alike. Overall, it’s a dependable option for casual shooting, provided maintenance needs are met.

A brilliant .22 from a bygone era
By JakeTheSnake on 02 Jul 2023
This gem is one of my bucket list guns after shooting a friend’s at the range one day. Superb craftsmanship and accuracy unmatched by the .22 revolvers of today. When the gun is opened the shells are expelled all at once outward thanks to a brilliant spring mechanism. That was the moment I knew I had to have one.
