About the Gun

The BFR(Biggest Finest Revolver) is domestically manufactured utilizing the familiar Ruger-design single-action transfer bar firing system and loading gate/cylinder rotation release mechanism, with a beefier upper frame and barrel enclosure. Each BFR is meticulously inspected and hand polished, hand fit and hand assembled, utilizing state of the art tough stainless alloys throughout. Frames, grip frames and cylinders are machined in precision CNC equipment with a proprietary process developed specifically for the BFR. This process insures the dimensional integrity of all parts.

Analysis

This revolver in .22 Hornet caliber offers notable precision, making it a solid choice for small game hunting or target shooting at moderate ranges. Its design prioritizes accuracy, with a well-balanced frame that aids in steady aiming. The ergonomics are commendable, providing a comfortable grip for most hand sizes, which enhances control during extended sessions. Reliability is a strong point, as it consistently performs under varied conditions with proper care. The trigger pull is crisp and predictable, averaging around 4 pounds in single-action mode, contributing to shot consistency. Felt recoil is minimal, given the light cartridge, making it approachable for newer shooters. However, maintenance can be demanding, requiring meticulous cleaning to prevent buildup from the rimfire round. Parts availability may pose challenges, as specialized components are not always readily accessible. Additionally, its heft might deter users seeking a lightweight carry option.
