About the Gun

The BFR(Biggest Finest Revolver) is domestically manufactured utilizing the familiar Ruger-design single-action transfer bar firing system and loading gate/cylinder rotation release mechanism, with a beefier upper frame and barrel enclosure. Each BFR is meticulously inspected and hand polished, hand fit and hand assembled, utilizing state of the art tough stainless alloys throughout. Frames, grip frames and cylinders are machined in precision CNC equipment with a proprietary process developed specifically for the BFR. This process insures the dimensional integrity of all parts.

Analysis

This single-action revolver, chambered in a powerful rifle cartridge, delivers exceptional accuracy due to its robust construction and precise barrel design. The ergonomics are well-suited for shooters with larger hands, offering a firm grip that aids in control during firing. Reliability is a key asset, as the design handles high-pressure rounds with consistent performance under varied conditions. However, maintenance can be demanding, requiring meticulous cleaning to prevent wear from the intense forces involved. Availability of replacement parts may also pose a challenge, potentially leading to delays in repairs. The trigger pull is crisp and predictable, averaging around 3-4 pounds, which enhances shot placement. Felt recoil, though, is substantial given the cartridge’s power, and may be uncomfortable for shooters unaccustomed to heavy magnum loads, necessitating proper technique and possibly limiting extended range sessions for some users.
