Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol offers a compact design that caters well to concealed carry and close-quarters use. Its accuracy is commendable, with tight groupings at moderate ranges, making it a reliable choice for defensive scenarios. The ergonomics are thoughtfully executed, providing a comfortable grip for a wide range of hand sizes, which enhances control during firing. Reliability is a strong point, as it consistently cycles through various ammunition types without frequent malfunctions. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome, requiring more time and attention due to its intricate design. Parts availability may pose a challenge for some users, potentially leading to delays in repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5 pounds, which aids in precise shot placement. Felt recoil is noticeable but manageable, though shooters with less experience might find it slightly sharp due to the compact frame.

Best Trigger EVER !
By Punisher13 on 03 Jan 2018
Mine was produced in 2001, That said I've owned many 1911's over the years, a few were excellent right out of the box, others....not so much. I bought this pistol used ($575.) last year, it was a one owner gun in great condition. I was shocked at the trigger pull. Light Double Action (LDA) is amazing!!! The gun fed and fired everything I put through it without a hitch... This pistol will not let you down !
