Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol offers a robust platform for shooters seeking a full-sized, stainless steel handgun with a focus on performance. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering tight groupings at moderate ranges, thanks to a well-designed barrel and sight system. The ergonomics are thoughtfully executed, with a grip that accommodates a wide range of hand sizes, promoting a secure hold during extended sessions. Reliability is a key asset, as it cycles smoothly with various ammunition types under diverse conditions. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring meticulous care to preserve the finish and internal components. Availability of replacement parts may pose challenges, potentially frustrating owners needing quick repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5 pounds in single-action mode, which aids precision. Felt recoil is noticeable but manageable, aligning with expectations for a firearm in this caliber, though it may require acclimation for newer shooters.

Excellent 1911 Pistol, well built highly accurate and reliable. Not for small hands the double stack is a beefy grip. To bad Para got bought out by Remington, they made some great 1911's. especially the original Canadian made guns.
