Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol offers notable precision, with tight groupings achievable even at extended ranges, making it a strong choice for target shooting or defensive use. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for most hand sizes, reducing fatigue during prolonged sessions. Reliability is a key asset, as it consistently cycles various ammunition types without frequent malfunctions. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5 pounds in single-action mode, providing a predictable break that aids in shot control. Felt recoil is manageable, though slightly sharp due to the robust caliber, yet it remains controllable with proper technique. On the downside, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring meticulous cleaning to prevent wear on critical components. Availability of replacement parts may pose a challenge for some owners, potentially leading to delays in repairs. Additionally, the weight might feel excessive for smaller-framed shooters seeking a lighter carry option.

She's a beaut!

First round ever fired was a stovepipe. Now, almost two decades later, it hasn't hiccupped once since that first round. Beautiful pistol to look at, handles well, reliable, with excellent results on target. Definitely one of my better purchases; and the gravy is that it's my wife's favorite (centerfire) pistol to shoot.
