The P250 is a unique modular firearm design. This chassis-like frame contains the trigger assembly and is the serialized part of the gun. The frame rests inside a polymer grip with the serial number showing through a window on the right side. In order to change the dimensions of the grip, you simply insert the modular frame into an entirely new polymer grip assembly.

Analysis

This .45 Auto compact pistol offers a solid blend of performance and practicality for shooters seeking a reliable carry or duty option. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent groupings at moderate ranges, thanks to a well-designed barrel and sight system. The ergonomics are a strong point, with a grip that accommodates various hand sizes, enhancing control during firing. Reliability is notable, as it functions smoothly with a variety of ammunition under typical conditions. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to tighter tolerances, requiring more attention to cleaning and lubrication. Availability of replacement parts may also pose challenges for some users. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5.5 pounds in single action, though it may feel heavy in double action for newer shooters. Felt recoil is manageable but pronounced, as expected from a compact frame chambering a powerful round.
