About the Gun

The P365X is a micro-compact, striker-fired polymer pistol that pairs the short slide and barrel of the original P365 with a longer X-Series grip module. It uses a flat-faced X-Series trigger and an optics-ready slide. Early examples carried the rear sight on the removable optic cover plate; later production moved the XRAY3 rear sight onto the slide itself with a separate cover plate for the optic cut. The frame uses SIG’s proprietary accessory interface, and the model accepts the standard range of P365 magazines.

Production began around late 2022 / 2023 and is currently ongoing.

MSRP is around $600. Current used market value for examples in good to very good condition ranges $400–$520.

SIG introduced the P365X to combine the concealability of the short P365 slide with the improved grip and control of the longer X-Series module, while adding a flat trigger and factory optics readiness. It occupies the middle ground between the original micro-compact P365 and the longer-slide P365XL. The change in rear-sight placement—from the optic plate to the slide—reflects the broader industry shift toward maintaining iron sights when a red dot is mounted.
