Analysis

This .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol offers a solid blend of performance and practicality for shooters seeking a reliable duty or personal defense firearm. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent groupings at moderate ranges, while the ergonomic grip design accommodates a variety of hand sizes, enhancing control during extended sessions. Reliability is a key asset, with the firearm functioning well under diverse conditions when properly maintained. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring meticulous attention to keep it in optimal shape. Availability of replacement parts may pose challenges, potentially frustrating owners needing quick repairs. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5.5 pounds in single-action mode, though some may find the double-action pull heavier than preferred. Felt recoil is manageable for most users, though shooters sensitive to snap in .40 caliber might notice it more during rapid fire. Overall, it’s a capable choice with considerations for upkeep.
