So much so, that law suits and cash settlements ensued between the companies, ultimately allowing Smith & Wesson to continue producing the Sigma series.

Analysis

This 9mm pistol offers a solid option for shooters seeking a dependable duty or personal defense firearm. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent performance at typical engagement distances. The ergonomic design facilitates a comfortable grip, aiding in control during extended range sessions. Reliability is a key asset, with the firearm functioning well under various conditions when properly maintained. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome, requiring more effort than some competing models to disassemble and clean. Availability of replacement parts may also pose challenges, potentially delaying repairs. The trigger pull, while functional, feels heavier than ideal at around 8-10 pounds, which could affect precision for less experienced users. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most shooters, though those sensitive to kick might notice it during rapid fire. Overall, it’s a practical choice with notable strengths and a few considerations for potential buyers.

Good for such a cheap gun was a glock clone had a very gritty trigger pull but could be fixed with trigger job made it much better.
