About the Gun

The original Model 21 revolver was produced from 1950 to 1966. It did not gain great popularity at the time and only about 1200 were ever made. Smith & Wesson re-introduced this 'N'-frame revolver as part of their 'Classics' series in 2007. This new Model 21 employs a carbon steel frame and cylinder with various finishes. Grip options are the classic checkered grip or a larger modern smooth wood grip. Although a sound design, this second offering of the Model 21 was not a great seller either, and has been discontinued.

About the Cartridge
