Analysis

This lightweight revolver in .38 Spl +P caliber offers a compelling option for concealed carry and personal defense. Its titanium construction significantly reduces weight, making it comfortable for extended carry without sacrificing durability. Accuracy is commendable for a compact firearm, with consistent performance at typical defensive ranges. The ergonomics are well-suited for most hand sizes, providing a secure grip during operation. Reliability is a strong point, as it functions smoothly with a variety of ammunition, including +P loads. The trigger pull is crisp in double-action mode, though it may feel heavy for some users, requiring practice to master. Felt recoil is manageable, even with hotter rounds, thanks to the design of the grip. However, maintenance can be challenging due to the specialized materials, and sourcing replacement parts may pose difficulties. Additionally, the limited capacity could be a drawback for certain users in high-threat scenarios.

I have had one of these 38s since around 2006 . It is VERY light, but ported. That makes recoil manageable. It is a great concealment gun, but I wouldn't let a new shooter start on one. Better to start with a heaver gun!
