Analysis

This 9mm pistol from a well-known Eastern European manufacturer offers a solid option for shooters seeking a reliable and accurate firearm. Its design prioritizes durability, with a robust steel frame that ensures consistent performance under varied conditions. The accuracy is commendable, particularly for a handgun in this price range, making it suitable for both casual target shooting and personal defense. Ergonomically, the grip fits comfortably for most hand sizes, though some users may find the angle slightly less intuitive. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5-6 pounds in single action, providing a predictable break. Felt recoil is moderate, manageable for most shooters with proper technique. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the design’s complexity, and sourcing replacement parts may pose challenges outside certain regions. Overall, it’s a dependable choice, though availability and upkeep considerations are worth noting.

Great deal on Tokerev M57 Clone
By Diecapsule78 on 07 Apr 2020
Purchased this gun for $198 (bought 2 of them actually). I am a big fan of military surplus pistols & came close to buying a few different Tokerev models/country of origin but never pulled the trigger (no pun intended) simply because I figured the ammo would be harder to come by. So when I saw Zastava had released the M70A at such a low price point I jumped at the chance to buy one chambered in 9mm. I don't regret it either. For a low cost firearm, this pistol shoots extremely accurately out of the box. At least min did/still does. Like any firearm there are good ones & bad ones but both that I purchased were straight shooters out of the box. The mag lock is a bit annoying but it's an easy fix if it bothers you.Unlike the original Tokerevs, the M70A has an external safety on the slide. If you find one for $250 or under, don't hesitate. Zastava now has a newer model, the M70AA which is offered in blue & now chrome are selling new for as high as $450. Not sure what has been added/updated
