Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol offers a solid platform for shooters seeking a full-size, double-action design with a classic aesthetic. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent performance at typical defensive ranges, while the ergonomic grip provides a comfortable hold for most hand sizes, aiding in control during extended sessions. Reliability is a strong suit, with the firearm cycling smoothly under varied conditions when properly maintained. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring regular attention to prevent wear on critical components. Parts availability may pose challenges for some users, as sourcing replacements or upgrades isn't always straightforward. The trigger pull, while crisp in single-action mode, feels heavier in double-action, potentially affecting precision for less experienced shooters. Felt recoil is manageable but noticeable, typical of the caliber, though a firm grip is necessary to maintain accuracy during rapid fire. Overall, it’s a dependable choice with considerations for upkeep.

Great balance. Fits my hand (I’m 6’, 175). Lots of good loads. Round ball for range, hollow point for home defense
