About the Gun

One of the first successful polymer framed designs, Glock handguns are common sidearms among law enforcement agencies and military organizations around the world. Although a striker-fired pistol, the Glock employs a single-action (SA) trigger, meaning that the trigger does not cock the gun, but only releases the striker when pulled. Cocking of the striker is performed by the retracting slide. Glock pistols have no manual safeties. The trigger is the only operating element. All three internal pistol safeties are deactivated when the unique single-action trigger is pulled, and automatically activated when it is released. Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol is a compact option designed for concealed carry, offering a solid balance of power and portability. Its accuracy is commendable for a subcompact firearm, delivering consistent performance at typical defensive ranges. The ergonomics are well-suited for most users, with a grip that facilitates a secure hold despite the smaller frame. Reliability is a strong point, as it functions dependably under varied conditions with proper care. However, maintenance can be somewhat cumbersome due to the tight design, requiring more effort for disassembly and cleaning. Parts availability may also pose a challenge for some owners, as certain components are less common in local markets. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 5.5 pounds, which aids in precision. Felt recoil, while manageable for experienced shooters, can be noticeable for novices due to the lightweight build and potent caliber.
