About the Gun

Imported from Armscor, Philippines in the mid 2000's, and designed to resemble a combat era 1911 with features such as a straight serrated backstrap, straight rear slide serrations, shorter beavertail and combat sights. But, also has many 1911-A1 features such as a lowered and flared ejection port, a beveled magazine well and shorter trigger pull with trigger-finger relief cuts in the frame.

Production

Production of this firearm began in 1943, primarily for military use during World War II. Manufacturing continued until 1945, with many units issued to troops. Post-war production was limited, ceasing shortly after the conflict ended.
