Analysis

This .45 Auto pistol offers notable strengths that appeal to a wide range of shooters. Its accuracy is commendable, delivering consistent performance on target, even at extended ranges for a handgun in this caliber. The ergonomics are well-designed, with a grip that accommodates various hand sizes, promoting a secure hold during firing. Reliability is another strong point, as it cycles smoothly with minimal malfunctions under standard conditions. However, maintenance can be somewhat demanding, requiring meticulous attention to keep it in peak condition. Parts availability may also pose a challenge for some users, particularly for custom modifications. The trigger pull is crisp, averaging around 4-5 pounds, which aids in precision shooting. Felt recoil is manageable for most, though newer shooters might find it slightly stout due to the powerful cartridge. Overall, it’s a solid choice with considerations for upkeep.

Kimber TLE II

I like my TLE II. It shoots very well and is very accurate. The sights are very well defined and easy to see. I would like to get another one one of these days. I have had mine for quite a few years and plan on keeping it for many more years.

I have one that I have owned (give or take) for quite a few years. I took it out a few weeks ago and shot it. My best 3 rd group was 7/8 of inch. My best 7 rd group was 3.5 inches.
