Analysis

This particular revolver in the .500 caliber is a formidable piece of engineering, designed for those seeking raw power in a handgun. Its accuracy is noteworthy, especially at moderate ranges, due to a well-balanced design and a crisp trigger pull averaging around 4-5 pounds in single action, which aids in precision shooting. The ergonomics are solid, with a grip that accommodates larger hands comfortably, though smaller-framed shooters may find it cumbersome. Reliability is a strong suit, as it consistently performs under harsh conditions with proper care. However, the intense felt recoil can be punishing, often deterring extended use without significant practice or conditioning. Maintenance demands attention, as the high-powered rounds can accelerate wear on components, and sourcing replacement parts may pose challenges. Overall, it’s a specialized tool best suited for experienced users who can manage its demanding nature.

Real handful. 350 gr bullets are fun to shoot. 440 and 500 gr bullets are almost painful.
